Peninsula Civil Solutions were engaged to construct the major concrete structures as part of the upgrade of the new 20ML Emergency Storage Lagoon (ESL) at Wonthaggi Wastewater Treatment Plant. Wonthaggi Wastewater treatment Plant is a lagoon based treatment plant which uses a number of processes to remove physical, chemical and biological contaminants to produce treated wastewater suitable for disposal and/or reuse.
The concrete structures as part of our scope include the Wet Weather Return Pump Station, ESL Sump Pit, and other various drainage pits & head walls. The project was managed extremely well by our client which allowed PCS to work without any issues or hindrances. This project was an excellent way to launch a great relationship with our new client, and showcase our skills in formwork, reinforcement and concreting.
