PCS were engaged to completed the concrete construction of various civil construction activities under the principle contractor Fulton Hogan Utilities. The work was part of an upgrade to the chemical dosing facility at Healesville STP. The purpose of this project was to increase the amount of sewage that can be processed and treated by the plant each day, so that the infrastructure can continue to support the growing community in the region.
Our scope included a wide range of civil activities. A principle part of the project was FRP works to construct the new chemical dosing facility. We were also engaged to construct a reinforced concrete retaining wall, as well as the install of electrical and communication conduits. Beyond this, PCS also handled the demolition and replacement of over 400 metres of boundary fence that protects the crucial assets.
